A BIT OF HISTORY
Forty Love Catering to your needs
Forty Love Catering was established in May 2022 following a discussion with a member of Thames Ditton Lawn Tennis Club (TDLTC), asking whether he would be interested in running the BBQ for the club on a Saturday for both the juniors in the morning and also the senior members in the afternoon.
Initially Forty Love provided a basic menu of Bacon Rolls, Sausage Baps and Burgers starting at 8am and going on to 6pm in the evening. The feedback on the quality of the food has been excellent and Forty Love is now seen as an integral part of the club on a Saturday. The club have then asked Forty Love to cater for all their events including their Summer Social and Oktoberfest. Forty Love catering have since extended into external catering providing Corporate Lunches and parties.
Starting in November we will be extending our offering to Friday nights, still based at TDLTC you can come and pick up your food on the way home from the station. See our evening offering on the menu page.
BREAKING NEWS: Forty Love Catering will be offering breakfast and burgers to the players, fans and families of Esher Football Club from Sunday 16th October
Events
Whilst we have only been in operation since May 2022 we have catered for some wonderful events:
Sailing the Med Lunch
Our first catered event was for Sailing the Med a group of 20 members who regularly sail and socialise together.
They were extremely impressed with the catering provided:
"Thank you Paul for a FANTASTIC BBQ lunch for our group of 19 friends - really impressed with the quality of the Angus burgers (I had mine with bacon and cheese too). The portobello mushroom and halloumi burgers were a massive hit also!
You really made our social day a into something special - it was so good for us, we are going to book another social lunch day with you this Summer!"
TDLTC Summer Social
Forty Love were asked to cater for the TDLTC Summer Social where 110 members got together to drink, dance and eat the night away. We designed a menu that catered for everyone's needs and exceeded the club's expectations in both quality and service levels.
Feedback from the members ranged from;
" the best food we've had for years" to "You are really underselling yourself by just calling that a burger"!
Oktoberfest @ TDLTC
On the 8th October 2022 Forty Love provided the catering for the TDLTC Oktoberfest. Cooking typical German fare of salty pretzels, foot long bratwurst, sauerkraut and typical German condiments.
Every one had a great time and went away extremely happy with the food and of course the steins of lager served in the tennis club bar! By the end of the nigh a few people were suffering from "Stein elbow"
